The points represent mean±standard error of the mean (SEM). The strength of constriction is expressed as a percentage of the maximum tension induced by lerimazoline to that induced by 10-4 M phenylephrine. The effects of the antagonist on the lerimazoline-induced constrictions were compared with the control (*p<0.05, Student’s t-test).
